What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

I have always been very interested in finance and coding and Millennium provides a great opportunity to explore a combination of the two.

Which skills do you use the most in order to succeed at Millennium?

To succeed here, I’ve found that you need to know how to ask questions and be willing to learn and adapt to new tasks every day.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

I’m part of a global team at Millennium and it’s been cool getting to know people from all around the world.

What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

I find it very rewarding when the work I do can directly impact the business. The projects here are really interesting, and the culture encourages learning and self-improvement.

How did Millennium support you during your internship?

Each and every member of my team is approachable and great to work with. It feels like they are deeply invested in my success and always available to help when I need it.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

I was surprised by how much agency I have in helping to solve the problems that I’m assigned. Instead of simply implementing existing solutions, I get to be creative and bring my own ideas to the table. I feel like a valuable part of my team.

What energizes you outside of work?

At the end of the week, I like to do things outside and take advantage of the incredible weather in Miami. You’ll most likely find me hiking in the Everglades, grilling in my backyard or scuba diving.

What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

I wanted to be part of an environment where smart people worked together to solve difficult challenges. I found that to be true at Millennium.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

The most surprising part of my time at Millennium has been the willingness of people at all levels to introduce themselves, share their backgrounds and talk about their career trajectories.

What energizes you outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy playing field hockey, traveling and swimming in the chilly Irish Sea.

What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

I have always been interested in how the markets work. I also liked knowing that at Millennium you get the opportunity to do work that really matters and that can be put into production.

What energizes you outside of work?

Outside of work, I like to explore places around New York City. Since I moved here, I have visited multiple landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State building, One Vanderbilt and the Metropolitan Museum.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

The people are friendly and approachable, which is not what I expected at such a large firm. Everyone wants to see you succeed and is willing to help.

How did Millennium support you during your internship?

My manager has been very supportive and welcoming. He takes time to really explain each project and makes sure I’m learning from each experience.

Which skills do you use the most in order to succeed at Millennium?

To succeed, I think it’s important to have a strong curiosity to learn. Your managers are always there to support you as you work through complex problems.

What energizes you outside of work?

Outside of work, I find energy by spending time with loved ones, exploring nature and engaging in creative pursuits. Whether it’s taking long walks in the park or immersing myself in a captivating movie, these activities help me find inspiration.

 How did Millennium support you during your internship?

My manager and my team have helped me the most in my internship. Their expertise and willingness to assist have made a significant impact on my internship experience.
