Inside Meet Millennium

Meet Millennium gives high-performing undergraduate and master’s students a chance to experience life at the firm. Students will gain meaningful exposure to software development in financial services, quantitative engineering, and the firm’s entrepreneurial, collaborative environment. Designed as an insight into Millennium’s 2027 Summer Intern Program, Meet Millennium offers participants an early, practical view of where their skills and interests would align in a career at Millennium.

In this Q&A, Jeanette Tagliareni, Campus Recruiting Partner, shares what the Meet Millennium program looks like and why it stands out for students early in their careers. To apply to Meet Millennium or learn more about the program, click here.

Applications for the 2026 Meet Millennium program are open throughout February 2026.

Why was Meet Millennium started?

We wanted to open our doors to curious, driven students with engineering and quant skillsand give them a feel for what it would be like to start their careers at Millennium. They will be able to work together on interactive technical challenges and network with technologists and quants across the firm. This opportunity is designed to help students learn more about our summer internship program, while providing access to senior professionals and analysts who began their careers through our intern and analyst programs

What differentiates the Meet Millennium experience?

What sets Meet Millennium apart is the level of access to people and ideas, combined with the opportunity to travel to one of five global offices and build relationships in person. Students have the chance to meet and get to know experienced Millennium employees and show off their skills through interactive technical simulations. The environment is intentionally conversational and highly collaborative, giving participants a direct look at how teams across the firm engage with markets, technology, data, and risk, and how they work together to solve complex programs

What can students expect?

Students take part in market and technology deep-dives, work together on problem-solving exercises and discuss case studies. They will also hear directly from employees who started their journeys as interns. There’s dedicated time for networking, mentorship conversations, and Q&A with a range of teamsThe focus is on working together and sharing ideas. We hope to leave participants with a deeper understanding of the problems we tackle, how teams work together to solve them, and how that collective problem-solving fuels each person’s individual growth.
