What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

I wanted to be in environment that challenged me. I felt that in being surrounded by a team like this, my own growth and acquisition of tactical knowledge would accelerate.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

Exposure to senior management through the Intern Speaker Series has been extremely rewarding and a great learning resource. The opportunity to interact and ask questions of these experienced individuals has helped grow my understanding of the organization tremendously.

What energizes you outside of work?

I enjoy being active. I recently climbed Mount Etna and Mount Vesuvius. Up next, I plan to run my first half marathon and skydive in Switzerland.

I knew that I would be exposed to the entire business. I wanted to have the ability to learn from members across the firm, in addition to those on my team and in my department.

Which skills do you use the most in order to succeed at Millennium?

Problem solving, diligence and drive. In order to succeed at the firm, I think it is important to be on-top of your work and eager to learn.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

I have been surprised by the amount of opportunities provided by my team throughout the summer. As an intern, I’ve been able to support the creation of many deliverables and felt that my work has had an impact.

I chose Millennium because the firm fosters a stimulating and entrepreneurial environment, offering opportunities to learn from senior professionals and take initiative on projects.

Which skills do you use the most in order to succeed at Millennium?

I constantly leverage my analytical mindset and attention to detail while working with data and helping conduct daily reporting.

What energizes you outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling around England to explore new cities and natural landscapes. Bournemouth and The New Forest are my two personal favorite destinations.

What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

While looking for an internship I wanted a firm that had math-based roles. I knew at Millennium I would be able to work with a group of intellectual thinkers that are passionate about the same things as I am.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

I was surprised by how closely I am able to work with senior management. They truly care about the work we do, even at an intern level.

What is your favorite things to do in New York?

I love to go see Broadway shows. One of my all-time favorites has been Into the Woods and I am excited to see a show that is described as a “disco pop” musical named Here Lies Love.

I consider myself someone who loves a good challenge. I was looking for somewhere with opportunities to work on complex projects and utilize my problem solving skills.

What surprised you during your time here at Millennium?

Millennium’s size surprised me. It made me really appreciate the impact that the Execution Services team has in collaborating with teams across the firm.

What energizes you outside of work?

I like to stay active and occasionally rock climb. It’s a great activity that lets me meet others as well.

What about Millennium made you interested in an internship? 

Millennium’s global presence appealed to me. I enjoy working with people of different nationalities in a multicultural working environment.

How did Millennium support you during your internship?

My manager has been the biggest help. In Compliance, we have to be able to explain the policies, rules and regulations which in turn takes time to absorb initially. My manager guides me through these with context so that I can succeed in my role.

Which skills do you use the most in order to succeed at Millennium?

Being attentive is a great skill. To succeed at Millennium, the quality of work needs to be clear and correct.
