Rich Mazzella

Rich Mazzella is the Global Head of Fixed Income at Millennium. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Head of Global Fixed Income and Commodities, where he was responsible for supporting the daily oversight and management of fixed income and commodities portfolio managers. He has been a key member of Millennium’s fixed income leadership team since March 2018.

Rich's career has spanned more than 30 years. Prior to joining Millennium in 2018, he was a Partner and Managing Director for the Office of the CIO at Hutchin Hill Capital. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Global Fixed Income at Citadel for eight years, which included being a Senior Member of the Management Team responsible for building, launching and running Citadel’s Global Fixed Income Fund. From 1996 to 2008, Rich held various senior roles at JP Morgan, including; Chief Operating Officer for Global Rates Sales & Trading, Chief Technology Officer for Global Fixed Income and Chief Operating Office for Global Proprietary Positioning and Principal Investing.

He began his career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor in 1987. Rich received a BS in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Lehigh University. He received an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
