Women’s History Month 2024 Across the Globe

A number of events were held across the firm in celebration of International Women’s Day. Learn more about the events across our global offices below. 

Americas

In the Americas, WOMN, WIN and WIT hosted two conversations at our New York headquarters on Wednesday, March 6th.

The first conversation featured Adena T. Friedman, Nasdaq CEO and Chair, and was moderated by Stacy Selig, our Deputy COO. Adena discussed Nasdaq’s priorities, her career journey and the importance of company culture.

In the evening, the networks held a fireside chat with Millennium’s Julia Raiskin, CEO, APAC, which was moderated by our Chief Communications Officer, Rosanna Konarzewski. Julia discussed Millennium’s presence in the APAC region, her experience building a career in Asia and what excites her about markets and finance.

 APAC

In Singapore and Hong Kong, WOMN co-hosted events with Citi’s Women’s Committee. Both offices participated in a studio cooking class and socialized over a meal together afterwards.

EMEA

In EMEA, WOMN held a fireside chat with Camila Penna, J.P. Morgan Head of EMEA and LATAM Cash Equities Sales and Execution Services Sales, moderated by Daniel Mallinson, WOMN EMEA Sponsor and Head of Execution Services, EMEA. Camila reflected on her career journey from Brazil to London, discussed the representation of women in the finance industry, and shared her personal experience with balancing a family and career.
