Rich Mazzella

Rich Mazzella is Global Head of Fixed Income and a member of the Office of the CIO. He is responsible for the daily oversight and management of fixed income portfolio managers across global rates, macro, emerging markets and mortgages. He has been a key member of Millennium’s fixed income leadership team since March 2018, having previously served as Deputy Head of Global Fixed Income and Commodities.

Prior to joining Millennium in 2018, he was a Partner and Managing Director for the Office of the CIO at Hutchin Hill Capital. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Global Fixed Income at Citadel for eight years, which included being a Senior Member of the Management Team responsible for building, launching and running Citadel’s Global Fixed Income Fund. From 1996 to 2008, Rich held various senior roles at JP Morgan, including; Chief Operating Officer for Global Rates Sales & Trading, Chief Technology Officer for Global Fixed Income and Chief Operating Officer for Global Proprietary Positioning and Principal Investing.

He began his career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor in 1987. Rich received a BS in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Lehigh University. He received an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
